Some may remember Peter O’Toole playing T.E. Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia in a role that earned him his Best Actor Academy Award nomination. (In fact, the actor holds the record for the most Academy Award nominations for acting without a winner).

Others may remember him in last role playing “Tugboat” in action film The Whole World At Our Feet.

Peter O'Toole

The Whole World At Our Feet is a Kazakhstan-produced action film that spans world borders and features a mixture of stars you would never expect in the same movie including: Bolo Yeung (Bloodsport), Don “The Dragon” Wilson (Bloodfist), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Mortal Kombat), Armand Assante (Judge Dredd), Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister (Jackie Brown), and Micheal Madsen (Resevoir Dogs).

It tells the story of a young woman, Aliya (Karlygash Mukhamedzhanova), who catches the lustful eyes of several powerful men and is thrust against her will into a vast criminal ocean. As passion, violence and turmoil swirl around her, she finds herself on the brink of death and only her true love can rescue her.

“Set in exotic locations with elaborate sets, the film has a very luxurious feel. The cinematography was spectacular and the acting was superb, with many familiar actors, including the great Peter O’Toole. Highly enjoyable.” – Bes Qaru Films

“A bright, thrilling love story which may be called a modern legend narrated in an original manner. The filmmakers managed to create a surreal world which exists in accordance with ruthless and cruel laws where the evil and love surmounted a whole range of hassles and overcame the malice and proved that the true love is capable to save the world.” – Bes Qaru Films
