Director Carlos Carrera brings a gritty perspective to this chilling fictional account of a string of real-life murders in a Mexican desert. Since 1996, hundreds of women, lured to work in American-owned factories, have gone missing in the Mexican border town of Jauarez.

Police captain Blanca Bravo (Ana de la Reguera) is the new cop in town. She’s determined to bring an end to the murders, but to do so, she must first take on the misogynistic justice system and the endemic corruption that almost completely controls the town. Also starring Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue, The West Wing, Dexter).
