Academy Award nominated Director Yamada Yoji returns with this contemporary drama about one foolish brother Tetsuro, and his caring older sister Ginko. A failed comedian, Tetsuro is loud, crass and just plain embarrassing. His lewd behaviour in public forces Ginko to disown him, only to be reunited with him years later when Tetsuro finds out he has terminal cancer.
In the face of death, they begin a new relationship of love, understanding and toleration. This film premiered at the 2008 Berin Film Festival, and is a touching story of reconciliation and the love only a family can provide.
